Ryan, you are right, there is no doubt that Apple has a way more creative team. There is no competition there at all!

@Alvin Slocombe - Sure, Apple has its growing set of detractors, and rightly so. However, their marketing team outmaneuvers Microsoft time and time again.

I use a Macbook Pro, and I love it. I think Apple ha great products, but I also think that Vista is a good product. Once Apple starts to get a larger market share and becomes the hated enemy like Microsoft is now they will go through the same thing where every guy will try to take them down with hacks and so on, it will happen, it cannot be avoided.

@Paul Singh - No matter what Microsoft does, it seems that Apple has a counter-move that just flat-out makes a fool of Microsoft!

Thanks for sharing the Stephens' quote - it's a classic. That said, it truly is spectacular to see a great product paired with wonderful advertising, not unlike the work for the Sony Bravia TV.

I saw this commercial on TV last night and couldn't help but let out a laugh. It's a good follow up to Robert Stephens', the founder of Geek Squad, quote a few years ago: "Advertising is a tax for having an unremarkable product."

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the office of whoever is making the advertising decisions over at Microsoft these days. You have to wonder what they're thinking at this point. :)
