My New iPhone Can’t Come Soon Enough
Yesterday afternoon I went with the lovely @beautifulthangs to the ATT&T store to order our iPhones. I held off on the first generation in hopes that by some luck Steve Jobs might break the exclusive contract with ATT&T and open the phone up to the Verizon network, but seeing as how that just wasn’t happening anytime soon, I decided to take the plunge and make it happen.
I’m disappointed to be leaving the Verizon network, but the lure of the iPhone experience was just too much to avoid. Besides, my bulky Treo just wasn’t cutting it for me anymore.
So aside from leaving Verizon, and learning how to type on the tiny glass keyboard, I’m looking forward to most every feature of the iPhone – especially rocking the Twitterific app.
Once it finally arrives, I’ll post my thoughts on the experience. 7-10 days can’t come fast enough!
